snowinfo's Privacy Policy:
snowinfo.co.uk collect a number of pieces of information from its users. For those who register, we collect information; such as Name, email address, City/County and hobbies. Once you have an account this is safe, and only visible to you. You can amend details and access additional pages, however you will not be able to visit other profiles. You need a password too, which, once lost cannot be retrieved. If this happens, email me and I'll delete your account. You can then go and set up a new one.
We collect session id's which are used to track which previously registered users are logged in. You are restricted to pages you can view until you are registered. The session id is used to define a logged user from an unlogged user. Misuse of the site will result in your account being deleted. Note: snowinfo reserve the right to delete your account at any time.
Use of email:
By registering on the site we (snowinfo.co.uk) will capture your email address as part of the process. This will then be used to contact you about events/news and competitions held by snowinfo.co.uk, or other similar themed events in the UK or overseas.
The data we collect is safely stored, and is not sold on or passed to any 3rd parties, unless, you tell us it is ok to do so. Usually this will be at the time of competitions whether you can opt to receive a newsletter from a 3rd party.
Content and Publishing Rights:
The copyright and all other associated rights of all material contained on within snowinfo are owned by snowinfo.co.uk.
Any images displayed on the site are not to be copied unless you seek consent from the site owner. If you wish to copy or use photos for your own use, please ask first.
Information and Availability:
The information held in this site took a lot of time to put together to aid you in your snow activites. However, please use this as a guide in making your decision. While every attempt went in to achieve accuracy, mistakes can still be made. snowinfo.co.uk hold a series of links to extternal websites that we believe will be of use, and are on a similar theme. That said, snowinfo cannot be held responsible for the content of external sites.
snowinfo Competitions:
snowinfo hold regular competitions. All winners will be notified by email. The terms and conditions of each competition will be set at the time, and can be changed without notice.
snowinfo guestbook/reviews:
snowinfo have a number of pages in which you can leave feedback to inform/advise other users on a certain resort, or to leave general site feedback. Any slanderous or offensive behaviour will not be tollerated.
First you will be emailled and warned. Further misuse of the feedback pages will result in you being removed, and your account deleted.
